How do I delete my account?
From the Profile tab, tap "Delete Account" and follow the confirmation steps. This removes your app data (preferences, bookmarks, history) and deletes your account.
Why am I not receiving daily notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled in the Profile tab and that FreshFoodFacts has permission to send notifications in your device Settings. On iOS: Settings → FreshFoodFacts → Notifications → Allow Notifications.
I subscribed but still see ads. What do I do?
Visit the Profile tab and tap "Restore Purchase". If that doesn't resolve it, sign out and back in. If you're still seeing ads, contact us and we'll sort it out right away.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iOS: open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → FreshFoodFacts → Cancel Subscription. You can also manage it directly from the Profile tab inside the app.
Is the nutrition information accurate?
Nutrient data is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database. Daily facts are AI-generated with web-grounded citations from sources such as NIH, PubMed, and Harvard Health. We strive for accuracy but content is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice.
How does the streak work?
Your streak increases by 1 each day you open the app and view at least one fact. If you miss a day, your streak resets to 0. Streaks are tracked per account so they persist across devices when you're signed in.
What data do you collect?
We collect only what's needed to run the app: your email address (for your account), reading activity, bookmarks, and ratings. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
